Investments are being made into the domain, plugin purchases and similar. It is just hosting. I was meant to remove the $50 part! These investments are being made from the Founder team.In my opinion, shouldn't be making a server if you cannot even invest a single dollar yourself.
Good luck though!
We are currently working on getting skyblock working in order to have a base demo ready. We also have a developer who can create server based stuff for us to add or remove. Rank systems are being worked on. We are also looking into getting a start on minigames once the base development of skyblock has been completed. This allows for an efficient demonstration for the potential investor. Is there anything to the server yet, or simply just an idea at the moment?
What size of a team are you guys currently working with, may I ask?We are currently working on getting skyblock working in order to have a base demo ready. A size of 4. We are looking to get a friend onboard who is a Java developer potentially making it 5.What size of a team are you guys currently working with, may I ask?
iirc on BBB to look for investors you need to offer a minimum amount of ownership or something. Also why would anybody want to basically do most of the funding for their investment back + 20% of that too? That's like barely any return. Also those benefits are the same across the board for investorsEternal MC
Looking for investors! This is going to be a skyblock, survival and minigame server! Looking for someone to invest in hosting prices, investing comes with multiple benefits including server ranks and similar, beta access and consistent updates. You will be aiding us in getting the base server running and hopefully aiding us in getting our first players. Being an investor comes with eventual payback IF the server succeeds to be self sufficient. Our budget is at LEAST $30 overall for hosting. If our server succeeds you will be granted your total investment amount +20% commission.
Why are we requesting an investor? In short, we have no money. We are looking to make a Minecraft server that can bring joy to many people who play it. We are discussing weather to take a P2W or non-P2W model. We request aid with this. Both will result in returns.
P2W vs Non-P2W: P2W may grant more profit in the short term however will result in a lot of bad publicity. Non-P2W may result in more profit in the long term and a larger more supportive playerbase.
Please contact me on discord if you are interested: Ethan.#5012
SIDE NOTE: Being an investor does not grant Owner or Founder rank. Please do not request this at a future date. Investors receive a rank named 'INVESTOR' rank. Investor rank comes with plenty of perks including certain perks you will not be able to purchase once the server releases. You may also request perks, permissions and similar which will be discussed through the whole Founder team.

* Loans, IOUs, or investments in which ownership of equal value in the invested project is not immediately received
I see where you come from with this however an immediate partition in ownership wouldn't make sense to give. However, in the future, a small partition of ownership could be given. Regarding investment back + 20%. A) It's some form of profit and B) That isn't a stable number. It's locked at 20% however, can be priced up to as high as 150%, potentially more, if the server does well enough.iirc on BBB to look for investors you need to offer a minimum amount of ownership or something. Why would it not make sense to give immediate partition in ownership to a person investing. It's not even an investment then and there's little incentive. And if the investor is funding most of the project but you're saying that they will make some form of profit, success isn't confirmed. It sounds like a loan but no promise that the investor will make the money back. It just seems like a bad idea for anyone to invest in with that proposition. Also it's confirmed that its against the rules of BBB (forbidden products section in the wiki) since you're not offering immediate ownership.I see where you come from with this however an immediate partition in ownership wouldn't make sense to give. Oh! I must have missed the part where it says ownership must be given, ill delete this thread now!Why would it not make sense to give immediate partition in ownership to a person investing.
