Don't worry, this is almost always done already. However, to deny them out of hand just because another forum has them would be foolish. We should at least let people argue their case. 95% of the time they won't succeed anyway.

Best to just stick to ebay or whatever for that, MCM is NOT equipped to deal with the mess you'll likely get from that.

I would say that there would be a minumum rep/premium account minumum in order to actually sell on the forum.

And then what? shipping across the atlantic for 2+ weeks. I can already envision the drama if it takes longer than expected, as modern postal services tend to.

Well, the buyer will usually recieve a tracking number by the buyer, to track their order

And how accurate is that? Im just saying, what is the need for a section when you can just use ebay and stuff? maybe a section where you can put links for ebay etc, on the premise you handle it via ebay?

Though this discussion is going off-topic, I'll chip in with that.

At that point I would say just have it work like a list. Like Google search results. No threads to discuss the ebay listings, just direct links to the listings.

Well said. Hackforums and MC-Market are both forums so we're obviously going to implement features that they have, it's just a few things like usergroups that we aren't implementing.
