I'm looking for some detailed feedback regarding an SMP server I host.
First things first, I'm aware survival is somewhat of a dying game mode, whilst there are lots of players in the Minecraft community that still love it (myself included), I personally feel the majority aim more towards minigames, factions or others, etc. However, I've never played anything other than Survival and SkyBlock in the 12 years of playing Minecraft, and I'm very passionate about survival.
The server is called TycheCraft, originated just over 2 years ago, closed for a while due to personal circumstances, and relaunched around 2 months ago. Playerbase is relatively small, with around 8~ regular players that play for a few hours daily, however even with constant advertising through servers lists and bumping PMC religiously daily, discord server lists, YouTube, TikTok, and paying for sponsored slots of server listing websites, we get very little joins (not a problem - not looking to make the next top server or get 100's of players), but the few that do join don't stick around. Funding is not an issue as I'm committed to the server so fund it myself on months we get little to no sales, as TycheCraft was not made for profit, and I also have sales through this website I can use.
I've been configuring servers for the best part of 5-6 years and aim to keep things consistent and simple, however, it's difficult gathering feedback from the community as most just want to get on with playing, but as a community-orientated server, any suggestion made I make polls on our discord server so everyone has a say on changes. I also have some experience with Java, so there's a couple features on the server developed by myself - if I cannot find a plugin for a requested feature I add it myself. I've also spent an abundance of time optimising the server, and although a bold claim is pretty much lag-free.
Looking generally for feedback regarding features, layout, design, balancing/economy (do get a few complaints regarding this), and any other general improvements. I've attached our main media/graphics below for feedback on those, as well as the server IP if anyone is willing to join the server and provide feedback on that as well.
