The simple fact with bidding on here is that bidding below the minimum asking price is perceived as a joke, whether or not it is serious.

you don't "bid above" the asking price, you bid on the asking price and if someone else wants it more badly they bid above your bid. That's how auctioning works.
Regardless, everything that's gonna contribute something to this thread has been said, so lets all drop it.
