That should not be aloud in any standards :spit: he does not deserve to be trusted as he disables it on servers who have players on he does not like he is bad dev :)

He is 100% right to have this. It’s a great way to prevent leaks

I don't see what is wrong with it. One of my main developers on my network did this on MCM and got banned for it. Should have not been banned, it is fine to put backdoors in your own plugins to prevent leakers from using it.

No it’s not lmao. There is no way to verify whether or not it’s leaked and also, if for some reason you piss off the dev then they can just screw you over. This is ridiculous lol

It disables the plugin and does nothing destructive, if he knows someones using a leaked version who cares? If he used it for malicious intent he would have already been exposed for it. I don't know Cole but something I do know is that zHub is popular and he wouldn't risk money & his reputation for something childish.

This sums up the situation perfectly for me.

Disabling a plugin as part of a leak prevention system is perfectly acceptable, and a standard practice that many developers use. As LillianA mentioned above, it's not destructive by any means, so would not violate rule 6.4. If the plugin were to delete server files lets say, then that's an entirely separate discussion.

If someone has legitimately bought a plugin of Cole's, and he was using the command without just cause, then that person has a basis to file a scam report against him.

However, I don't believe that's what's happening here.

I'm honestly surprised about how many people are worked up against this.
Also just restart your server to re-enable??

backdoor? I'd say a backdoor to worry about is more something where he's gonna run a command to op himself, destroy your entire server and probably make shit server owners regret not making a backup.

If that’s the case, they can also join on the owners account but that’s why there’s login plugins
