I am the owner of MoonLightFactions.com , a minecraft faction server, and we are looking for a developer to fix some of our problems that we are having. We are willing to pay but we always pay after the work is complete, and we will discuss prices once we can voice chat

Nobody works prior to getting paid, that's just stupid. At least offer downpayment. And yeah, when you offer cheap penny change you do get scammed, because no actual person wants to work for shit prices.

BTW, what you want is someone with braincells to read the wiki pages for add-ons, you don't need a developer.

Jeez, developers write wiki pages in more than clear English so end users can use the plugins, and end users need a 'developer' to even do that. This is usually an indication that you should be playing on other people's servers, not running your own.

Like Overlord said, no one is going to work without at least a down payment before. Because you can easily just fuck them over.
