Hello MC-Market, I was thinking about being a Server Plugin developer.

I see a lot of servers requesting something called a "resume" or something to show your experience.

I wanted to know what something like that would look like so I can get a head start on making something like that, so I can be more professional in my position/make a name for myself.

Interesting, however, would this fit my memo of being a developer? I thought I would have to show my work on some sort of website or something?

That can also work, but it’s also ideal to have all your skills / experience set in 1 page, in a nice layout for your employers.

A resume is important, but I'd argue a portfolio is equally (or perhaps more) important. A portfolio is (often) a website where potentially interested clients can have a detailed overview of your previous work. A quick google/youtube search delivers some good examples.

A resume is a good initial impression and can highlight a few significant projects. Just make sure to put a reference to your Github/Portfolio on your resume too.
