Developers on MC-Market don't do shit, there's not much good devs on here
Yeah but most mc-market developers are insanely slow, new to coding, or some other dumb shit.
You can't judge every single developer on here just because the ones you hired are slow..
A lot of people can vouch on this.

Mainly because everyone here is broke as hell and can't afford to hire proper developers per hour, you can't really complain if you're paying people pennies
Remember that proper programming costs money.
Go to Spigot and hire developers for quality, or the bigger ones round here. N1nja I'd put details about your budget, you will get a lot more people replying because they are interested and not trashing that way.

One of the large issues you'll find is that Minecraft's development community is not really a part of the coding / development community as a whole. It's a little pocket off to the side, where people do the same stuff, but for a lot less money. Minecraft is a primarily child-dominated area, and unfortunately that means you'll end up with developers being paid less. People here don't understand that in the real world, good developers in their fields can make triple digits a year, no problem. Good Minecraft developers would be lucky to make enough to be above the poverty line. I must entirely agree with Mat here, there are good developers here that would work for $10 / hour, but I'd say that's not a good thing, but rather a very, very bad thing. It's bad the developers have to agree to work for that little, and it's even worse that developers here are so underpaid that some actually think that kind of pay is fair for the work they do.
Mine HQ pays developers market rate. ( 10K A MONTH)
I'm not saying there aren't opportunities for specific groups or companies that pay normal rates, as those groups or companies are usually legitimate work . They have employees, and they pay them accordingly. The issue is that most groups of people aren't, and thus don't have the resources or desire to pay developers fairly.

3). Have been programming in Minecraft for 5 years
