I hardly doubt someone will work professionally or at a decent level for free;p You're asking for a developer, No good dev does stuff for free unless he's new to development and hes using that opportunity as a way to learn through action.

Only assumed he wanted it for his Minecraft server since he mentioned only the server and the gamemodes, as well as right after "our ideas become a reality." If he wanted a discord bot, it's more likely that he would've mentioned that and the features wanted. However, I can only assume.
