Devouch. User made us wait long for a website when we paid him $50. Then he asked for $10 for branding removal too which we also paid. The final product? A website with non compressed png images which result in the website being slower than my grandma on crutches. His explanation? "I don’t know how to make the images work if they are compressed". Not to add that, throughout the process, he was outright rude, often saying things like "I'm not retarded you know" when I suggested ways to do a particular thing and also getting annoyed over the smallest requests. I also had to often explain myself over and over again on several occasions because he "forgot" what I said when he could just scroll up but is too lazy to do so. In addition, he wasn't co-operative at all and told me to "google" things when I didn't understand what they were. Furthermore, I had to remind him to do things throughout the process, the same way you have to remind little kids to brush their teeth at night. His pure laziness and poor work ethic delayed my company's opening by 4 days and now, after receiving the product, it will be delayed even more as I have to get someone else who is actually competent to fix it for me.

In simple terms, the final product looked half decent but from the performance aspect of it, it was pure hell. So please, if you want to save yourself time, money and get an actual good product instead of spending money on a rushed website, do not buy from this guy whatsoever. Worst mistake ever...

Actually, I do agree with him. The website style is great, but it takes a bit long to load and feels slow, probably because of five un-minified CSS and four un-minified JS files.

I find it hard to believe that Diced was rude. He’s someone I talk to everyday and he’s never been rude to me. Maybe take a rain check and see how you were acting. Also, him being away I agree should’ve been told to your beforehand but you shouldn’t get too unbelievably upset, we all have life’s and things popup.

The design of the site is great, the load time comes from his web server as dotdev showed. As stated above I recommend you take a rain check.

Load time doesn't come from his website as we put it on our webserver and it was terrible. I had to get one of my web devs to optimise the files. Not to add that there were quite a few mistakes which I had to get fixed.

If only you knew the story behind that quote. The guy got annoyed because he didn't get accepted into the company. And in terms of the timing, it was 12AM for me on a school day. I replied to him as soon as he tagged me. Don't just assume things.

Well then don't assume what was going on with Diced? Your point about him going away for a few days may be something bigger than him just going on holiday.
