Did I just make a massive mistake going with SparkedHost?

The title says it all. I paid 2 days ago, was told they ran out of dedicated ips. Still haven't gotten my dedicated ip. Did I just make a huge mistake going with this host?

sparked is kinda overrated, you can find way cheaper hosting and better support with smaller hosts. That's just my opinion though, I might be wrong.

If they cannot deliver what was promised, request a refund and move to another host as soon as possible. If they don't provide the refund, open a scam report and they will either give it to you quickly to not lose out on a lot of customers or suffer worse consequences for their business and get banned here (where they advertise).

A dedicated IP is needed if you want people to join without needing to use a port. This is important if you want a custom domain to avoid this: play.mc-market.org:25561 and instead get this: play.mc-market.org

A dedicated IP is not required to achieve this though.

You don't need a dedicated IP for that (although there are other reasons as to why you might want one).

You paid for something you didn't receive, why would you not get a refund? Also, as said above, you don't need a dedicated IP to properly connect your domain to the server.

By the way, i once was a customer of sparked host and i didnt know much back then but i bought a dedicated ip. I setup a simple A record pointing to the servers ip, and once logging onto the server it sent me to some other server, meaning i wasnt really on a dedicated ip. Didn't know better back then but feel stupid now.
