Tbh, the U.K. Not having any guns internally creates stability in the region. However, if a terrorist group such as ISIS were to get into the U.K. With guns. It could lead to very devastating consequences.

Sure they have an army. Yet terror attacks are swift and decisive. They depend on the element of suptise to ensure chaos. It would take time to deploy the military to an area under attack. In that time hundreds could easily be killed before any rescue arrives.

Sloth the thing is also, that terror attacks aren't detrimental to a country. They get massive media coverage and cause laws to be passed, but if 100 civilians die, do you really think the UK is going to collapse? Hell no. Terrorists would have to target people like the prime minister, who are surrounded by secret service level bodyguards.
