It would depend on the seller him self
The only issue I'd see with this (other than the obvious issue of the how) is the complications of when/if a transaction is reported as fraudulent through a bank, rather than PayPal. Obviously with bitcoin and cryptos you can't really do that, but a lack of centralisation could become an issue for people selling their products in the long term.
It is your decision if you want to accept other currencies, but it should at least be an option. The only issue I'd see with this (other than the obvious issue of the how) is the complications of when/if a transaction is reported as fraudulent through a bank, rather than PayPal. I'm not sure I understand your question.[DOUBLEPOST=1524414818][/DOUBLEPOST]What's the difference with Paypal?
Yes. Perhaps that should be clarifiedIt is your decision if you want to accept other currencies, but it should at least be an option.
A Stripe implementation would be poor for quite a few reasons, it is definitely not appropriate for this community. Customers may not be happy with PayPal, but if people used Stripe they'd be absolutely annoyed. I love Stripe, it's great, but it isn't fit for services mostly purchased by kids (often using parents' cards, sometimes without permission) and with high risk and high chargeback rates. Stripe will issue $25 fees simply for receiving chargebacks (refunded only if you win). It just wouldn't be used.I see a Stripe implementation pretty easy and a huge bonus to the site's resource section so you can pay with CC's.
PayPal uses its own dispute system and PayPal users primarily file disputes via that system, banks encourage PayPal disputes to be filed first before bank disputes. Most disputes can be resolved at this stage which doesn't incur external chargeback fees (both Stripe and PayPal charge $25 for these). Disputes are solved according to PayPal's relatively simple dispute terms, the point is the right party keeps the money, irrelevant of crap that banks may consider. What's the difference with Paypal?
How on earth have you come to this? Stripe has some of the best fraud modules out of any payment processor. In my experience, comparable or outperforming those of PayPal.Thing Is with Stripe It’s also Easy to use stolen cards so It means people can go rogue and go resources and then mcm suffers
