Who We Are
I have created a developer team exclusively for my server. Currently we have 5 members. At the moment, we are paying our devs with in-game money. The server is fully functional and has about a 5-20 player base, so in-game money is a pretty decent reward. Once we start getting more donations from the custom plugins that enhance the gameplay, we will start paying the devs on the team. We apologize for no payments in real money at this point and time, however we have made $0 in November which doesn't help much... Currently, we are only making smaller plugins such as Map renderers or Chat Filters.​

Why Join?
I am sure that the custom plugins, as historically proven, will enhance game quality for players on the server and therefore result in more donations. Ultimately, this means the ability to pay the devs real money. Right now, it's just an impossible thing to do because we don't have any money. In at most a month the dev team will start to be paid actual money. We currently aren't creative large plugins like minigames. Sure, it might progress to that, but I would never try to make somebody code that for free as I know it's simply something that most people won't do. As I said, it's mainly small things like chat filters, guis, map renderers, etc. right now.

I don't think anybody on here is going to work for free.

We already have 2 members not including myself and the other server owner.

I would assume they are people who play on your server and are loyal to it. Any developers on here are, obviously, freelance if they're looking for work here. In which case, that means that they will not be loyal and dedicated to your server, rendering payment of in-game money completely useless. So in essence, no freelance developers on mc-market are going to work for free.
