I feel like you should be able to disable reputation, so like me; I don't do much deals only the occasional one or two and I feel like if you want to you should be able to disable rep and stop people been able to give you rep. Since so many people don't do any business.

No, this defeats the who objective of it. You could then do what you like and no one would be able to leave negative reputation.

Why would anyone want to disable it anyway, there would be no benefit from doing so. Unless your someone that attracts a lot of bad rep.

Maybe to enable this, you need to have 2 or less bad rep and at least 2 good rep (including with the bad rep)

I fit that criteria. I could then disable my rep, and go exit scamming several people until I eventually get banned.

The reputation system is there to protect people. There is no real benefit from disabling it anyway.

This is just a bad suggestion imo

This is a marketplace. If you use it for business, either selling or buying, its important that both can be able to show their rep.
If you dont use it as a marketplace, you dont buy shit or sell shit, then you shouldnt be recieving rep, so there is no problem.

If you could disable reputation, what's the fucking point of it? You could just disable it when you expect a negative, then re-enable it later just for someone to give you a positive.

Sorry, do you want us just to remove every single bad reputation ever left against you? We can't just remove false reputation against people because evidently 100% of the time you get negative reputation you'll disagree with it.

We do our best to stop people from lying about reputation, but sometimes there's just no way to prove it.
