It's annoying having to type out usernames which have lots of spaces or nonalphanumeric characters in them - especially ones where there is no purpose in having said characters.

An example would be Nico - whilst I don't mean to necessarily call out Nick here; it's annoying to type out.

Agreed, I don't want to get my hand distorted on a online market.

Sadly I don't think that this is a very constructive idea, as the username customization system is created so that users can well, customize their usernames. Adding spaces between letters in a username is no different for typing than a username with the same amount of characters without spaces.

If you wish to not type out the entire name, you're welcome to TAB/enter/click the popup while typing out the username to select it.

Otherwise this, in my opinion, is a lazy-driven suggestion that I believe is not worth implementing, as it'd just cause stress for users who wish to have spaces/blanks in their names.

Thank you for reading my feedback on this suggestion!

Fair point.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion. If the issue gets worse and names do get more annoying (which they already are with Zeiyon n0tzach AdamEdits jxhdvn) then please recreate the suggestion.
