This shit is annoying. If someone posts on this website, they should be required to give the details here and not require that I go into their Discord and wait. This is especially a concern of mine for jobs they want done.

Basic information shouldn't be a PM or Discord issue, it should be answered in the thread since that's literally the point of the post. I think the above post in particular should be considered low quality.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I also find this annoying, however, I'd rather our community not feel like they're having every single thing they do scrutinized to such a degree where we'd micromanage how personable someone is when they go about recruiting developers.

If they're uninformative and their means of recruiting is too bothersome, they won't get results.
You can simply decline to accept their invitation.

Actually, I'd prefer to leave it up to the thread poster rather than enforce a top tier recruitment thread, so I know not to deal with them because they're clearly managed by lazy and inconsiderate people.

Problem is, if this doesn't get sorted, these posts will carry on, and, many people, including me, ignore these posts as I really don't want to have to go onto a discord and wait for a ticket to be opened. It makes me want to post less on the site because I know 95% of the responses I get will be "Hi, I am a sales rep. Join our discord. Amazing prices you can't miss."

If they want that, they should use a system of their reps going into their own discord and getting us a quote to actually get sales.

I agree with this to every extent as I hate most service teams.

Their owners are usually 12 year olds who use grammarly and call themselfs CEO, then proceed to bring in 5$ commission for a logo to a Graphic Designer and taking 25% in most cases.
They put 0 money in advertising but hire even younger "sales representatives" who desperately spam on forums to get 5% out of a 5$ commission.

But then you come to a realization that them saying join our discord is the same as saying hey add me on discord, which most people do.

Would be just overall cleaner to make a rule to disallow publicly sharing a discord server invite link.

Albeit your points are all valid, I as a customer don't find it annoying/time wasting if you know where to look for getting things done fast and cheaply. You can join multiple freelancer/service team discords and make tickets on each. They cater to you, you don't need to cater to wait for them to get back to you.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
