I'm not that serious about selling this, but I wanted to know if people pay for this or not,

I run a (I believe their called Service Teams?) small business that creates custom Discord bots for clients, its a fairly simple business model, a client comes to us with a bot they need made, one of the developers in my team takes it, they complete it, a portion of the payment is given to me, most of it goes to the dev.

Some very general stats, its been running for about 4 months now, and during this time I've had 50+ customers and 1-2k in revenue. Sales were slow at the beginning as I didn't really know how to advertise this and I was just starting out, but now its pretty good. Advertising is currently stopped, but I still get a customer very 1-2 days, this could increase exponentially with good advertising. Currently there aren't many devs, its just me and one other dev whos taking a break rn, but we have like 4-5 people who want to apply as devs, the new owner would be able to pick who they want and continue with them.

If this were sold the buyer would get the domain, website, discord server, (possibly owner discord account), thread designs, other gfx stuff, and support for running it for a week or two

More info: https://www.mc-market.org/threads/692991 https://discordservices.biz

Do people buy these? If they do does anyone have an idea for how much people may be willing to pay?

Buying service teams is a thing (Not sure if allowed, but it does happen), although the real downfall with your offer is that you basically don't have any actual developers on your team already. You're developer friend you said is currently on a break, and might leave once you leave as well. If you already had an established 5 developers on the team, then this would make your service team pretty valuable. Because having to recruit those new devs does not guarantee any of them are actually skilled enough to be on the team, well as may not be active enough anyways.

What I would have done is, continue advertisements and recruit those 5 other devs and get them established first. Then sell off the project once you already got an entire team situated, as it makes the value higher by already having people. That basically allows a new owner to just pick off exactly where you started.

Do you have any idea how much they typically go for?

Not sure on an exact price it various depending on the value of a team. Personally I would start one up myself as I already have connections to easily start one.
But for someone without connections wanting to buy one, you would want to sell them it based off the value of your business.

So add up how much your GFX cost, thread design cost, domain cost, well as how large the discord is.
If you already have a lot of members in the discord, who have bought from you, it adds more value for having "Potential repeated customers".

But you should definitely use how much you spent on GFX & Thread Design & domain as your sort of base layer price, then go up from there.

Alright thanks for the info, I don't think I'll be able to get how much I would like for it, but anyways I'll continue running it.
