You can now get Hypesquad by filling in 5 multiple choice questions. There's no right or wrong answer and based on your answers you're put into a "house" (i.e. different style of badge).

This has made having the badge itself even more pointless - it's not like they didn't give it away to close to everyone before this (oh wait, they did...).

interesting the new hypesquad badges, but those are extremly pointless. Probably discord brought them just for stopping ppl selling hypesquad accounts, but if this is why they brought the Hypesquad here, then its just fucked up
