I personally already explained my toughts, some can agree and some can disagree. By default discord voice channels are 64Kbps. Voice channels typically use 64Kb/s, which works out to be 480KB/min. You gave me your number as example ( 9 hour talk ). If you were talking all those hours non-stop then the usage of cellular data would be as I said above. I calculated it from those numbers meaning: 480KB/min x 540 ( 9 hours in minutes ) = 259,200KB in 9 hours. Divide it by 1000 and thats around 259,2MB. You can calulate that also from conversion table - 1 Kilobits Per Second to Megabytes Per Minute = 0.0075. Also from this you will get the same number because channel will be 64kbps, so 0.0075 x 64 = 0,48 ( 64 Kilobits per second to Megabytes Per minute ) and then multiply: 0,48 x 540 ( again 9 hours in minutes ) = 259,2MB.
These are just some approximate numbers and this is the usage if you would talk 9 hours straight, so the usage could and should be smaller.
If you would talk 27 hours straight then usage would be 777.6MB.
If you would talk 36 hours straight then usage would be 1,036.8MB.
Best regards,
IF.
