I see that your server specifications, and what you have to offer is nearly the same to many other reputable hosts here for half the price of yours. What do you have to offer that is worth $6?

Also, I think you should change your pricing structure. $6, $11, $22, $30, $36... wha?

Basically we offer quality network, hardware, and most of importantly quality support services. We also do not use any sort of "gimmicks" such as "unlimited" or "unmeterd" disk space. top it off with free remote FTP storage and you got yourself a FULL Minecraft hosting service.

We setup that structure as it more reflect true economics (the more is purchased/rented at a given time the cheaper the "production" cost results in) and customers will enjoy a bit of a "price break" for staying along with us while upgrading to our higher end plans.

We never stated that we colocate/own our hardware and Psychz does their jobs to "well done". I do not regret using them at all becuase of this.

In other news we unfortunately have to temporary have to cease operations for emergency maintenance on our Minecraft hosting node. Thread will be switched to "closed" until further notice.

I'm sorry to say but it's a bit expensive.
$11.50 per GB is a lot, there are many other hosts that offer the same quality or even a better quality for 70% cheaper, I don't want to be rude but you can get a whole dedicated server just for your 8 GB ram price.

Hi, I would like firstly clarifies how we price our services.

While your are absolutely correct that 1GB is $11.50 a month, but as you need more resources (including but not limited to RAM) you will notice that is much cheaper than this (down to around $7/GB if you order in our largest RAM add on). We do this due to it more reflect true economics (the more is purchased/rented at a given time the cheaper the "production" cost results in). This also to serve that customers will enjoy a bit of a "price break" for staying along with us while upgrading to our higher end plans and/or adding in more resources.

Finally you may still disagree that our pricing is much higher than much of the competition but additional justifications are as follows.

• You mentioned ordering dedicated servers are the "better way to go"? Do you know how to secure one from bottom to top? How about setting up and keeping Mutlicraft running? Apache? Mysql? and PHP? Don't forget you also have to configure the firewall as well. Then we are still not done with system administration, what about checking logs regularly to ensure nothing abnormally is going on? What about ensuring there is plenty of CPU and other resources at your disposal at all times? and the list goes on to optimization. Forget all that work (or the $50+/hour Administration charges) and let's us ensure the OS and underlying software are in no less than optimal conditions!
• But we also are not stopping there! When you finally behind Multicraft you still need to setup, maintain, and keep your server(s) in top conditions. While for some Multicraft is "easy enough" but when you could use "a lift" we will be there for you. Whether if it for a full installion, helping you configure some settings, helping to troubleshoot a log, or even to help you in any ways to help your server to be successful (we go beyond just "tech support"). You can be rested assured that we got your back!
• Then finally we reinforce your experience with DDoS mitigation that will keep most attacks at bay (we got 40Gbps mitigation per machine). Plus we even include FTP remote storage to secure your data. Never again do you need to submit tickets just to take/restore backups (of course we will be happy to help you do these tasks if necessary), you can do it just the way you like it! After all a backup solution is not really a solution if you cannot take, restore, and delete data at any time.
