Information:
DiversityMC is a upcoming Minecraft community that will offer the players an experience that they shall not forget! The server has not even yet entered the development phase, and so we are looking for people who would like to dedicate their time in order to help us!

Positions Available:

Trainee - As a trainee, you will be required to deal with in game situations that may occur upon server release. You also play a key role in the development of the server, as you constantly test and find problems with the current state of the server. You will also assist the developers and builders in their role, and make sure that everything is running smoothly! Although everyone starts as a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to be promoted in preparation of server release, so remember to always perform to the best of your ability!

Developer - As a developer, it is your job to create the plugins and even configure some plugins in order to be sure that everything works the way it is planned too. This job is time consuming, so please be aware of that before applying. It is important to be aware that you will not be paid any real currency for the work you publish, and that all the work that you complete, will be handed over to DiversityMC and shall not be given to any other community. This includes handing over the source code for inspection! Just like trainee, you will have the opportunity to become a senior developer, meaning you will be in charge of coordinating the developers appropriately.

Builder - As a builder it is your job to build anything that is required for the server. It is your job to be sure that everything is looking good, and that everything is perfect for launch. This position requires creativity, as you will often just be given a theme, and asked to complete a good representation of that. Builders can be promoted to head builders, where they will gain the responsibility of coordinating the builder team, and making sure that each builder is doing their bit to help the community!

Why would someone apply for developer and not be paid?

Some people develop as a hobby, or use it as a way to improve their skills if they are still a novice. Believe it or not, I have developers, who are happy to support the community and not be paid.

Some people develop as a hobby, or use it as a way to improve their skills if they are still a novice. Believe it or not, I have developers, who are happy to support the community and not be paid.

I value my time and many other developers do, I see your point with gaining experience, but for those who have a lot of experience it is not logical to not being paid. Anyways, good luck.
