Honestly it's such a big problem atleast 10% of all threads being posted are newly created accounts just spamming their ad under other threads gaining traffic.

When reporting anything of this stuff it takes about 15 hours for my report to be "solved" It's getting insane

Suggestions on how to fix this problem:

1. Add a message filter to automatically delete messages stating "Selling coins" "Skyblock coins" etc (Obviously only non premium or higher users being affected)

2. Just get more feedback mods

Let me know if you have any more suggestions on how to fix this huge problem

PS: I know this thread looks awful but I just wanted to raise some more awareness for this problem

In general, that section of the forum is pretty much being ignored. Back whenever I was more active on this forum and cared more about it, I would report each and every thread I saw of people selling coins, some I still do. I genuinely have notifications on for that forum, but I can't tell you the last time I got an alert saying that my report had gone through successfully and that the thread was deleted or whatever. It's been just that long that I can't remember.

This falls under the whole ethical dilemma plaguing the site right now. Mc-Market keeps claiming to make strives towards being a more legitimate website that has some sort of moral high ground. Yet if they truly cared about being moral they’d have to remove a vast majority of the site’s sections as they break various TOS/EULA agreements.

You want them to put in a filter because your report took about 15 hours to be responded to? Your report was responded to within 24 hours and the content was removed.

Management made it disallowed to sell it so it's up to the community to do their part and report the content that violates the rules. It'll be removed. People are going to violate the rules regardless of a filter and it's nothing too serious to the point it needs filtered.
It takes ABOUT 15 hours, Sometimes way longer, Sometimes way less

Nothing too serious? I'm just saying, what's the point of a rule if it's not being enforced at a proper rate?

The staff roles are as follows:
  • Chat Moderator - handles chat, assigning tickets to the appropriate place
  • Feedback Moderator - Can handle chat, handles tickets to the best of their ability, handles feedback (reputatoin) disputes
  • Moderator - Can handle chat, handles tickets and handles moderation reports
So adding more Feedback Moderators won't help in this instance

Adding more feedback mods will make the response time less. so basically, Yes it will help.

The rule IS enforced, just because the staff aren't checking moderation reports every minute/hour doesn't mean the rules are not being enforced. They are, just not within minutes or hours. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A lot of the staff have IRL jobs and/or school, on top of also living their lives outside of that and MCM, so they can't just be sitting on their laptop/desktop waiting for new reports to come in. They handle them when they can and reports don't take a lot of time to get through.

I'm not sure how you can correlate feedback moderators into a suggestion that is solely for moderation reports. Feedback moderators do not have access to moderation reports. They can only see and handle feedback disputes.
That's why getting more feedback mods all from different timezones can help fix this

The ONLY role that handles feedback disputes are feedback moderators. The only time a moderator joins a dispute is if someone requires a 2nd opinion that isn't a different feedback moderator but that isn't common, I don't think.
I'm not a staff so I wouldn't know how often a mod joins a feedback dispute lmao
Who said anything about regular moderators though?

Who do you think handles moderation reports?
(moderation reports where you report a comment/thread/profile comment/profile post)
Look, If you disagree with my thread you can react with the "Disagree" emote

Please just don't fill the comment with your bullshit.

I'd just like to note here that when warning points are issued, you won't receive a report resolution notification. We previously issued verbal warnings for Hypixel Skyblock item/coin threads on first offence before a banner was put in place in the Videogame Items section, so the report would've been manually resolved with an alert. Now we issue straight warning points, you won't receive such an alert even though the report was still handled.

2. Just get more feedback mods
15 hours is a pretty quick and reasonable time given the number of reports we receive per day, as well as all other duties we have to keep up with. Also, as has already been explained above, Feedback Moderators do not handle the reports you're referencing in this suggestion - that would be Moderators.

Please also refer to previous suggestions before making one, as adding a filter for this has already been suggested and denied here: https://www.mc-market.org/threads/617854/#post-4660961

What more can we reasonably do though? Many of us will actively remove Hypixel threads when we see them within the recent threads widget, actively go through the Videogame Items section from time-to-time, on top of handling the reports we receive. There's only so much we can do.

This is just giving mods more leeway of being lenient af since they are hiding how they handled a report (resolved/rejected)
I wouldn't say so. This automatic resolution only happens when issuing warning points, so if the report needed to be rejected then you'd receive an alert (ideally with an explanation of why). It's always worked like that.

lol not it isn't up to the community to report it.
it's up to the moderation team appointed by management (the administration) to enforce the rules.
