I make a scam report on a person last week... due to this scam report not being open to public view, another person gets scammed by the same person.

I left neg rep and all, but that's simply not enough.
Do the scam reports faster... anyone with a fair amount of rep can scam so many newbies and get away for it.

I'd prefer if you didn't tell me what to do. I don't have to read your posts before I can post my opinion, my opinion is on the general issue everyone is complaining about which is the time it takes to get them done. Don't flatter yourself.

On other forums, the reports are instantly public so that you can read them when going to deal with someone or respond to them if it's relevant to you. They are not hidden out of view for weeks/months until approved.
on other forums, they don't stack scam reports either. they answer them all at once and don't wait and put off other scam reports for 2 months until the scammers reply.

Here's a better solution;
1) Add a "Pending SR" subforum, where users can view the scam reports, before staff even get the chance to respond to it or move it to current Srs.
2) Remove Justis from his duties as SR. It's obvious he has other responsibilities on this forum, and overworking him just makes the SR process slower.
3) Move 2 chat mods to Scam resolvers, and remove the B.S. Chat Mod -> Mod -> SR
(You have 6 chat mods, and Mod -> SR make no sense, different responsibilities)

why are there even chat mods? there's what like 20 users in a chat at a time during peak hours, all of which have premium and probably aren't trolls?? "chat mod" role should be removed and they need more general staff capable of dealing with everything like on other forums, this weird specialization shit is gay af.

also i disagree that answering scam reports is a "massive duty" where you must issue some trained "scam resolver". shit like that and trying to be overly professional is exactly why the forum is inefficient af right now. resolving scam reports is common sense. any reputable adult user should be able to handle them just fine.

The staff team are doing their best to work through the scam reports as quickly as possible. It is not just as easy as saying "Do them quicker." Staff also need to do other important things in their own personal lives to so it must get quite difficult for them. I think that the staff team does a great job and sometimes people need to stop putting so much pressure on them.

Agreed , when I submitted my scam-report I was CB . They opened it 5-6 months later and they won the CB ;-; and banned an extra 6 ppl

A new scam report is being made every day mcm should either promote a few more staff or get some new ones the situation is starting to get out of hand, currently the scam reports are backed up from August with a low amount of staff it’s going to take 6 months to get November’s scam reports started.

Are you taking into account that there are scam reports created daily and in those scam reports, are people who either don't provide evidence so staff has to get them to provide evidence or that there is not enough evidence to support their claims so staff has to get them to provide it?

Are you taking into account that not all scam reports are short? Are you taking into account that not all replies are short? Are you taking into account that staff have to read, or at the very least do a good job at skimming each comment to see if it contributes to the thread or person who is being reported?

Are you taking into account the time it will take to write a response on top of the things listed above?

It's not as simple as it looks as the scam resolvers have to read every scam report and every comment and have to write their response to the comments, which is a time-consuming thing.
M6Gaming had 3 pages by himself of SRs at once.
3 Staff Members only have 2 pages altogether.

It takes 1-2 hours at most every week to go over the scam report.
If someone provides low amounts of info "Username please respond to the scam report against you - Venture please provide more information in regards to <blah blah blah>"

Also typing a two sentence response does not take long.

I have 3 pending scam requests.. by the time half of these are done paypal is not gonna let me dispute them

there's around 640 pending scam reports right now

imagine that, 600+ scammers free to roam the forums everyday for months due to staff incompetency

The staff applications system was a joke, reputable members who wanted to be staff who fit the role perfectly weren't given the chance, instead, they hired these inactive fucks. They said in another suggestion that they "lose motivation", you're working on minecraft for fuck sakes, if you can't take abuse from angry users you shouldn't apply
