For now this is a question similar to "do you believe in god?". I think the answer should be no until some kind of evidence is found.

(Don't get me wrong It would be fantastic if it exists)

I'm an agonistic-atheist and I study a lot of philosophy because it interests me. The multiverse is one that also intrigues me, because it's just as equally plausible as any other explanation for our existence.

When talking to people of any religions, a common "explanation" stems from what is known as an argument from ignorance. This means, for example, "Well we don't know ____, therefore it must be God". The multiverse is just as equally plausible in terms of supporting evidence as any of the Abrahamic gods, aliens, or the one that I often subscribe to: our first sign of life was microscopic life attached to rocks and through a little process known as evolution, we are here. This is one many profound scientists subscribe to, but I'm sure I did a terrible job of explaining it.

Your belief in God is dependent on how you were raised and how susceptible you may be. A majority of religious people are born into that faith and never have much of a reason to question it. I was in the Catholic school system, so after taking so many religion classes, it actually pushed me away from Catholicism. It's about critical thinking, logic, and reasoning. I support criticizing every religion, and yes I mean every religion, no matter how off-limits they may think they are because of historical persecution. I support religious freedom, but my support stops when your freedom infringes on the freedom of others. (EXAMPLE: The recent US SC decision to allow religious institutions to deny birth control to women while citing religious reasons.)

There will never be convincing evidence for God. It is all dependent on interpretation, and there is no concrete definition for "God". It means different things to different people and to different religions. The Abrahamic God is a paradox, in my mind. I don't believe such a being could exist by their definition, and if he did, I don't think I would want to submit myself to the Abrahamic God. The Abrahamic God of the Old Testatement is an asshole with a huge ego who needs constant glorification and worship from his own creation. Just because a God exists does not mean we ought to follow said God. You can not get an ought from an is.

If anybody wants to have open discussions about theology or philosophy, I'm all ears. I'm not a neckbeard in their mother's basement who wears a fedora and worships Richard Dawkins. I seriously encourage debate, but secularism and philosophy is something I'm very passionate about. I'm always reading more, researching more, and writing more.

Yes, however I don't feel like explaining why because I decided to stay up way too late for my brain to keep comprehending things.
