Do you guys prefer 1.8 or 1.9+ when joining a server?

Personally, I like the shulker mob, the new end, and new arrows, but am not a fan at all of the sword mechanics, shield, and changes to iron bars. That's why I probably won't be playing on 1.9+. Still, if no one else feels that way I may be forced to update my server. So is 1.8 dying, or do other people find 1.9+ so atrocious that 1.8 will always have a playerbase?

But the point of the poll is to see how many people weren't on board with the changes in 1.9. Putting two option 1.9+ will just skew the poll.
