Do you miss the old minecraft servers?

I remember playing on the old mc.trollandia.it and I think I miss that old and rough type of server. Back in 1.6.2

Do you miss those servers? The ones with 10 players where you had to start minigames by yourself, where you could just chill with your friends in the minimalistic hub or you could play vanilla without warps, ranks, cosmetics and stuff like that. Don't forget the potato pc with 20 fps max

Used to play Chaoticprison or something like 5 years back, grinded that like a champ. Also enjoyed old factions and old minigames servers. Like Mineplex and The Hive.

Lets not forget the countless hours I spent playing quakecraft on Hypixel, when that game was still popular

The servers themselves, no. But to able to come home from school and play minecraft with people that you met online and not give a care about anything else in the world was a good feeling to have, which you won't be able to have once you've grown up as you have actual responsibilities in life once you leave school/college.

I miss mcpvp. The original UHC. You had to connect to each sg with a different IP that you find on their website.

I miss old servers actually more than you'd think. Now, most servers all full of cheaters and tryhards. Rarely anyone plays for fun and doesn't tryhard. I just can't seem to find those people on bigger servers. In my time, some servers like "PikaNetwork" or "HollandCraft" - or even "CreeperCraft" were awesome, I remember playing with my friend and that. "WallCraft" - afaik, my first server. I got home from something, my friend is out and is like:
"Dude, my friend showed me how to play online in Minecraft!"
- "NO WAY! How??"
"Hop on Skype, I'll show you!"

I remember, that night, playing on WallCraft "KitPvP" (I think) some guy said "Hi!" to me... I was so hyped I ran outside and told my mom about it. I felt so special. I still know it was on a sand part of the map, I will never forget that.

Same, it was pretty good and I loved their factions?? Not sure, they had those ranks that you'd buy with ingame money. I enjoyed it a lot, let me tell you it's still in my heart.
