I quited 1 month ago without even noticing, I think Ive grown out of it.

Basically I haven't been enjoying the game anymore since 2016, and now have quit since the start of 2019. The fun and awesome times from 2012 to 2015 have ended (for me), unfortunatly.

Don’t get me wrong Minecraft will always hold a special place in my heart among other video games but it’s honestly not what it once was. I stopped playing close to a year ago and I don’t regret it.

Although I have seen a lot of Minecraft youtubers return and I’ve been watching some of their older videos and it’s getting me all nostalgic so I might play on an older version at some point.

My feelings on minecraft are a love hate relationship. Minecraft was one of the first games I ever played online and I quickly learned to not only care for the game itself, but the unique people who play it. Minecraft in its core is quite boring and repetitive, it always has been. It doesn't matter how much it's updated or changed. It's simply a boring game. Other may differ, but this is just my opinion. I always loved minecraft for the community, the people in it. Regardless of the shit people say, people who play minecraft aren't always toxic children... I think minecraft has a unique bond, idk? Am I silly for going this much into a game? I've met real life friends through minecraft, friends I might even hold to a higher degree than friends I met in school. But I do get really really bored of the repetitiveness, and I take breaks. Months on and months off.
