I used to be a big hater on tiktok, then I gave it a thorough honest try and now I'm hooked.
I had the perception it's all the cringe because the worst of the worst gets reposted by people making fun of it, but now that their algorithm knows what I like it, it's really solid.
Personally a big fan of Chris Udalla, Francis Brissette and Kyle The Cowboy.

That said, a lot of the appeal is you don't have to like anyone in particular. The algorithm sorts by videos more than person, so most of the time you are shown videos it thinks you'll like, not people it thinks you'll like.
If you haven't tried it yet, I encourage you to sit down with the app for about an hour. It takes some time for the AI to learn what you like, but once it does, you may find yourself enjoying it more than you expected.

tiktokers i like: Aviva Sofia, Chris Udalla (you have good taste Cal), nosebled, mynamedevon, itsnotdatsrs, elite.oliver, indigowhitecosplay
those are the only ones i actually look at the profiles of, otherwise i just scroll through the for you page

TikTok is alright. Just have to skip 10 videos to find something decent on the fyp. Usually it is all cringe and double tap the screen or try and pause the screen at the right time. Although the dark humor is where it is at.
