Does anyone know how to allow 1.7 to 1.12 while using Paperspigot 1.8.8?

Hello,

I am trying to get my server to allow 1.7 to 1.12. We are using PaperSpigot 1.8.8 and the error that comes up on screen is [proxy] lost connection to server.

We are using Hexacord for our bungee also.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Would be a big help!
