Does Mining Bitcoin Still Make Sense?

As a total newcomer into the crypto currency game, I’m well aware I’ve got a lot to think about before I can start doing anything. I’ve noticed a ton of y’all on MCM deal in BTC, and it made me wonder if it still makes sense to mine it. If it’s not a good currency to mine, what is?

GPU hardware is currently a Vega 64, if that’s relevant.

If this post makes y’all’s sides hurt, go easy on me… I literally know squat about crypto mining.

Mining BTC stopped being viable in 2017 tbh. Just buy if you really want it.

Mining with your computer is not profitable and is a waste of electricity. I would only mine if I had an efficient mining device with a renewable energy power source
