I think this is needed so it is forced that people give all the appropriate information such as:

• Domain Registrar (ie. Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc)
• Expiry Date for that domain
• Additional Information (ie. BIN, BID, etc)
• And whatever else the staff feels is necessary.
