I’m not selling anything listed in this thread. I’m just sparking a discussion about the popular domain trend of forming a well-known compound word with a single dictionary word + one of the new gTLDs.

Some relevant examples that are actually used today:

Good thread! I believe that this will gain a bit more popularity, but then die off. My guess is that it is popular because it is new and out of the ordinary. When it gets old, it won't be as interesting as before and companies will go back to .com. Most people don't even know that TLDs like .online even exist, and will probably not bother to memorize hundreds of new extensions, making it impractical for companies to use.
