The US' intentions are to eliminate ISIS ("ISIL"). Whereas ISIS' intentions are to take over the world and force Islam upon all "non-believers".
The US is not out there to kill civilians, where as ISIS is. ISIS have killed more civilians than the US have, yet people still argue that the US are the worst people on the planet.

If you're going down that road, verbally attack Saudi Arabia. They're the ones funding ISIS, and Saudi has publicly executed more people than ISIS has... Ever.
