I am a bit confused on whether certain perks are considered P2W or not, I wouldn't want my server to be p2w, but some players are asking for /enderchest, /craft command etc., nothing big but still advantageous in a way(?) I'm not really sure x-x

Perks that are P2W are anything that is not obtainable without spending money that provides a game advantage.
Things like cosmetics and quality of life mechanics (like /craft & /enderchest) are not P2W because they do not provide a significant game advantage.

For example, hypixel sells MVP+ that automatically accepts all quests so you don't forget, this isn't P2W since you can manually accept them anyway.

If the perks of the ranks are just to help them access things easily (/echest and /craft) then I don't think it's P2W. It's a way to show appreciation to the players who support the server.

Unless the ranks also give them end-game kits/gears or OP commands, then it is considered P2W since players with money have tons of advantages.

Using /enderchest and /craft are P2W mechanics.. They do affect gameplay as it removes the "vanilla style" by allowing you to virtually access a feature that shouldn't be virtually accessible.

If it’s a regular SMP, something like /craft that saves you 1 wood log isn’t a significant enough advantage for it to be considered P2W.

Whether the cause is significant or not, it's still P2W. That "1 log" could be a life or death situation that'll save you all because you paid IRL cash for it..
