As I am Greek myself I can give you some ancient Greek names

Nyx - The Goddess of night.
Hemera - the Goddess of day.
Aether - The god of the upper atmosphere and light.

Titan Names
Chronus - The leader of the Titans, who overthrew his father Uranus only to be overthrown in turn by his son, Zeus. Not to be confused with Chronos, the god of time.
Epimetheous - Titan of afterthought and the father of excuses.

Considering the Greek and medieval times were in two completely different eras, I'll give two lists xD

Greek
Strategos (Greek military general)
Legatus (Roman military general, but based in the Ancient Greek era)
Taxiarch (Greek brigadier)
Navarch ("Leader of ships", modern-day naval admiral)
Phrourarch / Phrouarchos (Greek garrison commander)

Medieval

Hospitaller (from the Knights Hospitaller)
Templar (from the Knights Templar)
Vassal (a person granted the use of land, in return for rendering homage to a lord/king)
Grandmaster (The head of a military order of knighthood)
Marshall (Military commander)
Heretic
Count / Duke / Jarl / Baron
Knight (but overused as hell)

Hope I gave you a few ideas you could use. :)
