Don't allow rands to report rep

It's just stupid.. why is some random troll allowed to report perfectly valid reputation of others? I woke up this morning and found two of my +reps to be reported. Like wtf, they are perfectly valid...

Only the user who created the reputation and the person who receives the reputation should be allowed to report it, not just any Tom, Dick and Harry.

I have to disagree with you on this one. While the most common reason for reporting is probably false negative reps, there might also be false positive reputation from people rep-farming or using alt accounts to make their main acc seem more reputable. I think these should be able to be reported by other users.

But then what if the user is not available/doesn't have enough time to respond? Then they would have less reputation than they deserve/earned all because of a troll

Yet another reason why the system is flawed. Reporting reputation should continue, but consistent removal of reputation from banned users or those without proof (mostly due to the user being inactive and failing to provide it when asked) is a horrible policy.

I think there should be something like this when you report a reputation:
You need to provide proof of the reputation being false
When it took place
How did you obtain this proof

At the moment I'm going through a number of suggestions, and a lot of them were created regarding the reputation updates that we published and later rescinded. We now have a system where we consider some reputation to be 'legacy' and that reputation does not count toward reputation totals, and overall I feel like now a lot of people are satisfied with this system.

There were a tonne of suggestion threads created during this time, all with very valid criticism of our updates, and I believe that the reputation system we have now is even better because of that so thank you for that.
