Don't ban for joking around

[Recension]

Hello MCMarket,

About 2 weeks ago, I was banned for "Violation of TOS" (Age Requirnment.)

This was all because I was joking around and I said I was 7 years old. I think these kinds of ordeals should be thought of more and be carefully looked at, since a joke shouldn't equal a ban.

We have to take anything and everything seriously when it comes to breaking rules. If we thought everything was a joke, far more people would be breaking rules and causing issues. There is no reason to joke about breaking a rule, people have joked about scamming and were banned just like you were for saying you were underage. We take it seriously. It is your own ignorance if you get banned over a "joke". Just don't joke about breaking rules and there would be no issues. Not to mention if it does happen, you can appeal. You're making a far bigger deal out of this than what it is and ever was.

I'd understand punishment for other rules, but really? AGE? Do you actually think a seven year old can even operate a fucking website? I understand that you "have to do your job", but seriously? There isn't really any way to verify someone's age, heck, everyone on this site could be 10 years old. But you'll never know, because seriously, people just lie about their age on their profile. So I don't understand why a simple joke can't just be put off. Honestly the staff make it seem like this "job" on a minecraft market website is equal to working with the FBI or some shit.
