I think we should disable non premiums viewing the shoutbox. I hate them contacting me about stuff I say in shoutbox and I dont want them to see our shoutbox either

In the last 10 bans, 10/10 of them were non premium.

Oh, those dont count except for 1(The one with the $160 investment). That guy that scammed $160 is going to be the only guy thats gonna get banned as a donator
So now find so many non premiums that scammed a total of 160$ together before you encounter another premium scammer. Well anyways I'm out.

CakeSG premium scammers outweigh nonpremium scammers. The reason is the amount of being scammed from the person. A premium can easily scam more money than a nonpremium. For Example, Omnivion scam report. I read about it earlier a month or two ago. That guy scammed about $13k. There is equal amount of risk for each one of the members. There is no reason to segregate nonpremium from premium. Doesn't everyone have the right to at least look at shoutbox and think if they want to buy premium or not based on shoutbox?

Alright, this is gone a bit too far. Let me explain why for this. Based on the votes of the suggestion, there is the split between premium and nonpremium. The community has already been split already due to shoutbox. Adding this would just encourage more segregation suggestion for premiums. Now everyone who have premium put yourself through their shoes. What do you think about the shoutbox if you were a nonpremium?

I'm a new premium user but I never use the chatbox. The fact that Cake things that most non-premium users are scammers [see his post on the first page] is just ridiculous to me; I see no reason to buy a premium rank when I'm brand new to a site, so I waited a while before buying mine. That didn't make me, or anyone else who hasn't bought premium yet, untrustworthy.
I don't feel that donators using the chatbox should use it to convey private information they don't want non-donators to see in the first place. Again, this is biased towards non-premium users, again assuming that they may use the information for malicious purposes somehow, or that they might contact the donator in regards to what they said. If something really is that sensitive it should be conveyed via Skype or PM. In my mind this nullifies the main argument for this suggestion.
If this issue is going to cause too much argument however, maybe a new chatbox feature is in order; prefixing a message with something like "\" or "!" will create a private message only donators can see.
