I don't think there should be a required waiting period between queuing a Stickied Resource ad and having it approved by a staff member... If all resources have been hand-approved, shouldn't they all be pre-qualified to be sticky ads?

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

The resource approval process is there to ensure that what you've got, what you've uploaded, the basis for your resource and everything it's expected to be in the future is a solid one, a quality one, and one that is within the rules.
It ensures that the product you intend to resource exists, is worthy of our resources to begin with, and is yours.

However, updates to resources no longer require approval.
I do have my resource update alerts turned on, which basically alerts me any time any resource I've downloaded has updated, to do a quick overlook and ensure the updates are remaining within the rules as well.

I see no particularly strong reason why we shouldn't be giving a once over a resource which is about to get stuck at the top of the resource section for all to see and ensuring it hasn't been changed to porn or something obscene.
(I don't get notified of description changes)
Just to be fair.

I think that there's no reason for us to waste the time of reviewing stickies or featured resources for the >1% chance that someone is trying to abuse the situation. Even if you're going to abuse it, I'm sure you're gonna be caught within a few hours and warned heavily.

I'll move this to pending to get this approved for thread stickies and featured resources, it's something that I've been planning for a little while now. Thanks for the suggestion.

This has been implemented. Resources and stickies no longer require manual approval before giving you an invoice.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll move it to accepted :)
