So before this, my desk was a tad small and I couldn't fit three monitors on it. I was getting really fed up with having a small desk.
Thus, I decided to use my old legs from my desk and attach them to a door that I bought from Home Depot. I had a rough time deciding what door I wanted to use. There's doors that are hollow and doors that are solid. There's doors that have a hole for the knob and doors without.
So, I opted for a hollow door with no knob hole. The door was roughly $25.00 and $5.00 for the screws that I needed. The result?
Aside from my terrible cable management, it turned out pretty good. The desk doesn't shake like I thought it would, but that's mainly because it's flush against my wall. I'll probably pickup another leg from IKEA and use that to center it in the back, along with the cable management rack that goes under the desk.
