The median calculations would suggest he's made around 2.5 million, maybe a little less.

If he's in his late 20s, then that money needs to last for 50 years, at least 40.

That would mean living off of 60,000 dollars a year, which is not enough to support his current lifestyle, let alone his future family, etc.

I always talk to my dad about these things, and i'm trying to see what income i could live off of if all i did was take my inheritance and invest it at a rate of 3% income a year. xD I would never have to work a day.
