Even if I post on my thread like after a day or so, it still comes under the double post.
It's annoying for me as I want it to look clean, every message being a new banner/request I've completed.

Hopefully, we can change this to, a 12 hours limit.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

This is currently possible without any software modifications.
At the moment, it's set to merge all consecutive posts by the same author, regardless of time since the last post. It will merely state the merge date in the doublepost info bit.

The user post bit is to indicate who is posting, and I don’t believe that’s necessary to include if there hasn’t been a new speaker since the previous post. However, the matter of "looking cleaner" is true enough. I’d prefer we try a 24 hour delay first though, rather than jumping all the way down to 12.

Sounds good to me. I'll add this to our list for adding a 24-hour rule to merging in our next announcement.

I'll move this to pending, thanks for the suggestion.
