Hey,Honestly, I might be wrong on this, but after checking out your plans and machine hardware. It appears to me that you're attempting to oversell this machine to the edge, so you can get a good amount of profit while offering such low prices. While doing that, gaining customers, so you can state that many people use you to get others to buy from you.
Honestly, 128GB of RAM, on that CPU... I get it, you're new to hosting, and trying to earn profit. But honestly, your goal should be attempting to get long term, loyal customers.
Remember, this is my point of view. What it appears to be, you're in it for the money. I'm not trying to insult, or harm the sales of this host, I'm just stating my opinion and what I feel like it is.If you feel like I'm wrong, I'd be happy to hear your opinion.
Thank you for the interest however we've recently just given around 50GB of RAM out in vouch copies and we're not looking to give away any more free copies unfortunately.Am I eligible for the vouch copy? Cool service by the way.
Hey,
Thanks for your interest, we do not and are not planning to oversell any of our servers. I assume you have come to this conclusion because we offer $1.50/GB for the first month. This is simply to gain a client base, we are expecting a loss in the first month because of that 50% discount however after that first month we expect that most clients will stay with us and that's how we shall profit. The 50% discount is simply a marketing strategy.
Can I ask why you think we're planning to oversell our servers?
Many thanks,
The DreamNode Team.[DOUBLEPOST=1473749774][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hello,Man is incredibly cheap looks really nice!,
I was wondering do you need any staff support for servers? i am very good with customers etc.
I understand what you're saying, I thought by overselling you meant we were trying to sell more than 128GB on a 128GB machine. We cap ourselves at 120GB RAM, leaving 8GB free for database connections, O/S etc.Thank you for keeping it professional, that is my first comment.
Personally in my eyes, it looks like you're planning to oversell due to the fact of 1 machine running 128GB of RAM, with a CPU that only has 8 cores. This part is my personal opinion, that is why I mentioned I would love to hear from you, that you should sell a max of 64GB of RAM on a machine with 8 cores. But as stated, personal preferences.
I get that Linux and Minecraft servers don't take much, but it feels like a bit of overkill.
Seems to be that you understand how to be a good host, so I'm not gonna bug you anymoreI just wanted to address the 128GB of RAM on that 1 machine. Anyways, good luck with selling.
Looking forward to see how you turn up in the future.
Hello,
Unfortunately as previously stated we're a new hosting company so we aren't taking any staff on at the moment. Feel free to message us with your contact details so we can contact you when we are hiring.

A lot of hosts actually resell 128GB servers, although yes for performance a 64GB dedicated server would be better, however we doubt there will be ant visible performance differences.
I hope that I've aided your concerns and if you have any other questions please go ahead!
Regards,
The DreamNode Team.
Thank youThat's good to hear, as stated before, good luck with selling! I'm looking forward to seeing you grow.![]()
Thank you for reviewing our service, we do apologize for the issue you had regarding our support. Adequate action has been taken against the live chat rep who was meant to be accepting chat requests at the time.Honest Review:
Okay so when i saw dreamnode they looked pretty cool. They were kind enough to hook me up with a sponsorship! I had some issues with something and their livechat was offline (didn't even say offline) and the ticket system was not even setup! Though i figured out the situation myself i was pretty annoyed. Once livechat was back, their staff were very helpful though. There were very kind to change my server ip as i requested. Also the fact that their prices are pretty cheap! There isn't much for me to write! So the rating i would give to dreamnode is a 7.5/10.![]()

Once again, thanks![]()
Hi MCHosting, we fully admit that our site is a modified template however the reason I was complaining was because they've copied all of our content and text too. Plus the fact that they had our live chat widget code still on the 'About Us' page means that they've downloaded our site so they're not licensed to even use that template.DreamNode
Unless the other host had a legit copy of your site with your custom copyrighted images, you won't be able to do anything about it since its a template
