I was wondering what the general opinion of everyone was on what data you agree with being gathered by systems that prevent the leaking or unjust distribution of software as well as how it is bound to the user. It would be a great help to me and others to find out what people think about this topic.
Can you please give you insight on the gathering of (no selling and not public): IP Addresses, plugin file name, uniquely identifying Computer/Server information, port, MOTD.
As well as this, do you think that it would be a good idea / would you mind having to go to another site or Discord server in order to have a token or license number that you will use inside of the plugin as its 'license', as such. This will be bound to the above information so that it can be used to identify who owns the license as well as how they are using it.
