DS4 controller problem

so a few months ago i was shitting on some kids on rocket league and i decided to queue 1s. i fucking blow at 1s and thats why im only plat on it. anyways, i broke my controller and now whenever i try and connect a new, non-broken controller, it doesnt work.

pls tell me if u know how to make it connect
