Dutch-speaking developers wanted!

After 2 years of working with a small-scale team of developers, we are looking for good reinforcements! In May 2020 we started with a single survival server which has been widely picked up in the Dutch community. The pursuit of bigger and better has been a prospect for us which has been realized in January 2021.

Now we are more than a year further and we would like to make big steps. Our server has enormous potential and will grow into one of the largest communities in the Netherlands with the arrival of new promotions.
We have a discord server with almost 12,000 players, a regular youtuber with almost 200,000 subscribers and a motivated team. This comes together to a smoothly running whole where we urgently need someone.

The development team is responsible for devising, setting up, maintaining and improving the Minecraft server, website, webshop, discord and everything around it. You have an analytical ability to recognize, understand and solve any problems. You also ensure that you stay informed of the latest technological developments in the field of Minecraft, Java, MySQL, etc.

What exactly are we looking for?
You don't become a developer overnight, it is a difficult and challenging position that is not for everyone. To become a developer with us, you have at least the following knowledge:

• Java 11 & 16 (>3 years experience)
• Bukkit / spigot API (>2 years experience)
• Set up / manage Bungeecord & spigot servers
• SQL (>1 year experience)
• Git (>3 months experience)

Tips to Apply
We have a few tips for you to get your application off to a good start:

• Introduce yourself well
• Tell what you are good at and where you used to be a developer
• Compile code in a repository and send it along
• Make sure you have a good microphone
• Invest time in your application. A quickly rushed, unclear or bad-looking application is not suitable for this position
