I am Aekalix, often referred to as Aeky. I come from a land far from here... I have sailed the seas with my dearest, The Maiden, a Full Rigged Pinnance for one single purpose. Seek brave men and women to help me get home and conquer Euturia with. But beware, the way back home is not to be laughed at. We need to cross the most feared sea of them all. The Blue Graveyard. But beware, only a handful have attempted to take on this ferocious beast. Some abandoned their dearest to challenge the impossible and have never returned... But for those who do succeed to do the impossible will have timeless glory awaiting them. Are you up for the challenge?
Who we are:
We are The Dyescape Crew. A group of strangers that have become close friends and we have one common goal: Do the impossible. We are looking to create a new MMORPG* in Minecraft. We are looking to become the best and biggest out there. Our team currently exists out of 16** passionate, hard-working and simply incredible people.
Dyescape? What is that?
Dyescape started out as a simple survival network. But now, Dyescape is becoming a major upcoming MMORPG* that is aiming to become the biggest and best server out there. Yes, of all of them. Dyescape is not your average server. All Dyescape specific plugins are code by our own team, this gives us the advantage to not rely on anybody else and can add new features with the blink of an eye. We offer or soon-to-be-offering unique classes, skills, items, quests, guilds, monsters, player housing, shops, chat dialogs, an incredible storyline with a rich in-depth lore and a massive, absolutely gorgeous open world to explore.
How long have you been in development?
We have had this question a lot. We have been in development for almost 2 years now. That's day in day out. Every weekend, every Sunday we were and are working.
And yet, we have not been able to push out a version of our server that we are okay with. This is an example of our quality standard and that we want to truly deliver something that stands out. Something that you will remember years from now. Something that goes beyond Minecraft and brings people and complete communities together.
That's all very cool but why would we join?
Why? If you want to be a part of something cool and massive. We are truly looking to become more than just a game. Dyescape has become a group of international friends. We have met up, supported one in the hospital, delivered food from the other side of the world and shipped out merchandise (mousepads and hoodies). She also [REDACTED] in [REDACTED] 31st.
We also plan to have a massive dinner after we launch our pre-alpha with everyone in the Benelux.
And we need you. We want to speed up our progress. We need more passionate people to are willing to help us out. We especially need writers but if you think you have anything to offer, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I will respond within 24 hours.

Yes, this can be paid. If you want to be compensated we can do that. If not, you will always still be rewarded with random gestures of kindness or pizza deliveries. After alpha launches, everyone will be compensated for their work if possible.
