Greetings MCM! Today I'll be introducing yet another scammer to the MC-Market community! Well, a failure of one, at least.
So yesterday at 12:43PM, I received a PM from a member by the name of DYS stating that he was recently robbed of his wallet (which had included an ID, a credit card, and some cash) at JFK International Airport. Immediately following that, he asked for premium on MC-Market. What the fuck? If you were just robbed of your wallet which included some form of personal identification and your money, why are you on a minecraft forum. Why do you even care about getting premium right now? These were all the things going through my head at that point of his message. However, he wasn't done yet. The last sentence in his message made everything all the more suspicious. He then proceeded to ask for a $2-$3 donation. I get the whole concept of asking for money since you supposedly just lost a bunch, but why $2-$3 exact? You should be asking for as much as possible with manners. He didn't say "please" once the entire message. I then replied to him "LOL" and got a reply in which I was expecting. He responded, "Its funny, I got robbed?" From there, the fun began.
In a new message, I invited DYS & lolitsalex. I had told lolitsalex about what had just happened beforehand and requested that he play along as my 'financial manager'. In the message, I greeted DYS with an apology for my immature behavior in the original PM and offered to help him compensate for recent loss with the help of my financial manager, lolitsalex. He then replied, "Is this a joke?" and I responded, "It's not, I really do hope you can forgive me for laughing at you earlier." I was laughing at him in the SB for a bit before we had begun this new conversation so he brought that up after I claimed that I was serious and I had to once again attempt to persuade him that we were serious about helping out. I then got his attention for sure by saying, "We're willing to help you get back at least $20, however, if you won't accept our offer, that's fine." Afterwards, DYS replied asking how we could help him, so I reply, "We were thinking about setting up some type of loan process where as we'll provide you with some funds now, and you can choose when you would feel comfortable returning the money at a later date, at most 3 months." I was pretty sure I had persuaded him at that point, so from there, I waited for my 'financial manager', lolitsalex, to pitch in on the fun.
Of course, my boy, lolitsalex, comes in with the 1-hit KO with this message: "Hey, DYS. Ty & myself have forwarded your IP and your name to the Police. We have done that so the Police can investigate the Robbery at the JFK Airport & possibly return your items, other than that we will be setting up a GoFundMe Page for you." I then proceeded to make a GoFundMe page for him which can be found here. After that, we just waited for DYS' confession to being a scammer: "IT WAS A JOKE, I WANTED TO SEE IF YOUR GENOUROUS!" "PLEASE DONT TELL THE FUCKING POLICE, I WANTED TO SEE WHO WAS GENOUROUS ON MCM"

Moral of the story kids: if you're gonna scam, at least try not to sound like a dumbass.
