Easiest Game-mode?

If I was starting to develop a server from scratch (myself) to try and learn. What is the easiest game for ex. Skyblock/prison/survival to configure? Or best mode to start developing on.

To learn how to develop, or how to make a setup I would personally choose factions or skyblock. Two of the most demanding as well as 'hard' gamemodes to make. Easiest would be something like kitpvp

when i am starting a Server, i mess with Prison server.

I would start off with the basics, Survival and/or Factions.
Would give you lots of experience to expand into more tricky territories like Skyblock, Prisons, HCF, Practice, etc.
